A bit tight

Today was so hot, we put Aidan in his short sleeve suit and took him shopping for grandpa's present. We didn't really notice how much weight he has put on until today because he is usually in his long sleeve jump suit. We also discovered he needed new pants... So we went to cotton on kids to get more outfit...

Cameron's Bday Picnic at the Wombat Bend Playspace

It's Cameron's 1st Birthday Bash!!!!

Last Sunday we all went to Wombat Bend Playspace to celebrate Cameron's first birthday. The weather turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Wombat Bend Playspace was filled with kids playing and adults picnicking. Unfortunately, Aidan is not old enough to play yet. So, as usual, he went to sleep in his pram while others partied.

Eventually, Aidan woke up to the bright sunny afternoon and he was blinking very hard to the sunlight. Lucky for Aidan, I brought along his cool sunnies (bought by his daddy a few days prior the party).

Throughout the party, our little birthday boy Cameron was quite sick and unhappy. A few days after his picnic, we were told that he had developed conjunctivitis. Poor Cam.. We hope you get well soon. Cam's mummy, Michelle, catered a wonderful picnic with sashimi (which became quite warm under the sunlight), fried mushroom with garlic, bread and dips, mini cheese cakes and fruits. The amazing thing that was prepped was the hot chocolate and latte. Auntie Michelle was prepared for all weather condition!

It was such a beautiful day for a lovely lovely picnic. All the mums took a photo with all their babies.


We hope you get well very soon Cam, so you can have more energy to party on the day of your actual birthday. Thank-you for inviting us to your birthday party. We ate all your birthday cookies when we got home!

Visiting great grandma

Hello all. This is daddy's first time at blogging on little Aidan's blogsite.

Mummy was busy studying at home with Aunty Adeline, so daddy and I decided it was time to visit Great-grandma at the nursing home. This was the first time I had visited great-grandma. Grand aunt kwan and Grand aunt peng were there visiting. Of course, ahkung and porpor were also there. Great-grandma was very very excited to see me and she was all smiles. She gave me a kiss and she even gave me a red packet. Thanks great-grandma.

Ahkung was very happy to see me and wanted to carry me all the time. Porpor's arm was still broken and in a cast, so she couldn't carry me but she was playing with me with my new caterpillar pull toy that mummy got for me at baby bunting.

Meanwhile, great-grandma was watching me play, and smile and coo at my new pull toy. After about an hour, I got very tired and wanted to go home. So we said goodbye to great-grandma and she gave me a big wet kiss. Daddy put me in the pram and ahkung and porpor took me for a walk around the nursing home to settle me down. I was sooo tired, I fell asleep in the pram. Daddy took me home and I got to see mummy again. yay!

23 degrees

Spring started about 12 days ago and today was the first day that the temperature went above 20 degrees. Aidan was feeling some what a bit hot and meanwhile I cannot make up my mind what to dress him in. It's not hot enough for summer gear and not cold enough to be in a long sleep jump suit. While I was making up my mind, I left Aidan to cool down in his singlet and nappy. He must have been quite hot because he shrieked in happiness while lying on the change table.
I just could not resist but to take the camera out and snap some pics of him.
