Daddy's Birthday!!!!! Aidan爸 生日快樂！！

Aidan's dad turned 34 today!
The celebration began the night before, with a family night out at the drive in movies in Dandenong. The whole family watched Quantum of Solace from the comfort of our VW. Aidan behaved quite well with only a small amount of crying through the movie. Naturally our attention was devoted more to Aidan, which resulted in us having no idea what the movie was about after it had finished. After we came home, Aidan and I came up with a plan to divert Col's attention. This involved in Aidan and I looking extremely thirsty and asked for some water (actually I looked thirsty and repeatedly asked for water while Aidan just looked sleepy). When Col went to get some water for us, we went to pull out his presents from the secret hiding spot.
Aidan then surprised daddy with the presents.

My first passport 第一本戶照

With the holidays just around the corner, we have decided to apply for a passport for Aidan just in case we decide to go on a family holiday sometimes in January or February. In the process of applying a passport, we've discovered how hard it is to get Aidan's photo taken. None of the Australian Post would take photos for a baby and Col had to find a professional photographer to have Aidan's photo taken. Not to mention the vague questions in the application form. In the end, Col booked the photographer near his work to get the mug shot done. Aidan had to be held up while sitting on the swirly stool and photographed with a white background. While the photographer is figuring out his camera, we took some photos of our own.

昨天我們決定幫Aidan申請護照 因為我們正在考慮要不要全家出國渡假

平常澳洲郵局就可以幫我們照護照相片 駕照相片等等
小Aidan到現在還不能做起來 所以照相的時候要一個人扶著

Aidan tried some solids today. Today's menu was baby rice cereal with milk. Aidan had a few spoon full and seemed to quite enjoy it after the first spoon full!

Hello Santa 你好啊 聖誕老公公

Jingle bell, jingle bell.. it's Aidan's first Christmas!
Col and I took Aidan down to Chadstone to do some Christmas shopping today. Yes, it does seem a bit early to be doing it but because my summer unit for uni starts next week, we had to be super organized. While strolling in the shopping centre, I was on a hunt for a Santa. I have been looking forward to Aidan's first christmas for a while now (ever since I got pregnant to be exact). I wasn't expecting Santa to make his appearance so early in November, BUT... low and behold, there was a santa outside Koko Black. Mr. Claus was strategically set up in a great location, with access a great lunch in Sushi Sushi (low in calorie and great for his blood pressure I am sure), a nice of cuppa in Koko Black and a short shopping and loo stop in Myers.
After an in depth discussion, we selected the Santa's promo package - 2 cards, 1 calendar, 2 bookmarks and 3 wallet photos. Col then held Aidan in his arms and approached Mr. Claus.
Upon meeting Mr. Claus, Aidan was slightly freaked out at the sight of this giant red man with a white strap on polyester beard. However, he didn't cry and only whinged slightly. The lady who was taking photos tried very hard to get Aidan to smile but she really could not manage to get one. Oh well.. better luck next year..

iPhone

We visited the Apple store following Aidan's hand and foot casting at Chadstone. Col and I played with the iPhone and of course I salivated over it. We took photos of Aidan with the iPhone and had an intense discussion of whether or not we can use the email function to send it to ourselves. In the end Col decided to send the pics to ourselves through the email, and I was on the look out for a shop assistant who may tackle us to the ground for sending things from their sample phones. Later on, we were told by a shop assistant that as a part of the phone testing, we can make use of all the phone's function. Hence, the 10 available hand sets in the store.

我們拿起美麗的iPhone幫Aidan拍了幾張相片
當Aidan爸偷偷的從iPhone裡面把照片email給自己的時候
Aidan娘在把風 被抓包時可以敏捷的推著Aidan逃跑
後來有個服務人員跟我們說 我們可以試用所有iPhone的功能
Aidan爸跟Aidan娘突然感覺狠聳 覺得好像增咖（台語）來的
兩個鄉下人神經兮兮 偷偷摸摸的用iPhone 人家明明放了十台在那裡給你試用 ～＿～

Hand and Foot Casting 立體手腳模

Aidan got his hand and foot casted yesterday. I had made an appointment to get Aidan's 2 hands and 2 feet casted. However, when we arrived, we saw the samples hanging on the wall and they were MASSIVE. They did not look as cute as I imagined. In the end, we decided to get just one hand and one foot done for Aidan. The casting will be ready before Christmas. It will be framed with 2 little plaques with Aidan's information i.e. date of birth, when his hand and foot was casted, his birth weight (sorry Aidie.. mum and dad forgot how heavy you were. Mummy will have to call up the nice lady and give her your birth weight tomorrow), Aidan's full name (including his chinese name) and a nice pic of Aidan.

小姐跟我們說聖誕節之前應該就會做好了 耶～
