Collingwood children's farm

Two Sundays ago, we took Aidan to the Collingwood children's farm. It turned out to be a very nice day. The farm was situated in the inner city and it was quite amazing to see a farm in that location.

After our late lunch at the farm cafe, the first animal we looked at were the guinea pigs. It was petting time with the guinea pigs. Aidan sat on my lap and we held a guinea pig called Ginger. Aidan looked at Ginger like some sort of disease and refused to touch it. After much coaxing, and had Aidan look at the Ginger face on, he tapped Ginger on the head a few times and then lost interest. We then showed him some chicks to which his reaction was "Yuck Yuck YUCKKK" (Yeb.. he has the germaphobe Ma gene!).

上上個星期日，我們戴小Aidan去兒童農場玩。 吃完午飯後 我們剛好碰到寵物時間。我跟農場義工要了隻天竺鼠 給Aidan抱抱 。結果Aidan都不摸牠 只用很怪異的眼神看著牠 可能因為Aidan覺得牠很像一陀會動的毛。Aidan到最後只拍了拍天竺鼠的頭幾下就沒興趣了。之後我們帶Aidan去看小雞，小雞一直拍翅綁把很多雞毛跟食物都弄到飛起來。小Aidan看到之後就一直說"噁心 噁心 噁心". 這個小子果然是有梁家的細菌恐懼症基因。

We then walked out of the barn and saw a cat lying on the ground snoozing. Aidan was very interested in the cat and said meow meow a few times. After all Aidan does speak cat, having practiced his cat languages at home with Boss and Harry (occasionally he copies me and tells the cat off in English "Bossy.. oi no.. stop it"). There were a big flock of geese quacking and eating happily closely to the cat and lots of chickens with Afro hair style (I had forgotten to take pics of the chicken but I found one from the net for all to see, personally I find them quite hilarious looking).

農場裡面有很多貓。Aidan看到小貓都會很興奮，很像看到自己的家人一樣的衝過去，邊跑邊喵喵喵 （最近在家裡Aidan都會學我罵貓 常對貓no no no的唸）。農場上有很多鵝跟絲羽烏骨雞 (原來煮來吃的烏骨雞就長這樣喔！）。

We saw Heather the cow around 4pm for her milking. Aidan really didn't have much interest with that. There were other kids that went up to milk Heather. I wasn't too sure if Heather liked been pinched so many times by little hands twice a day.

We then continued our little journey through the farm into a garden area where Aidan saw a few butterflies and continuously said "fly fly.. fly fly"

農場到了四點的時候有擠牛奶show，不過Aidan對擠牛奶沒什興趣 ，看了一眼就不想看了。
我們還看到很多蝴蝶 Aidan看到蝴蝶都會說fly fly。

and looked around.. 看來看去...

and saw some piglets playing in the mud

Then we met another cat.. once again Aidan ran off after it saying "meow meow.. meow meow.."

Then we came across the goats enclosure. The goats were chewing on the hay very loudly, making clank clank sound with their teeth. Sounded rather impressive when they clank clank-ed in a group. Aidan went inside and patted a few baby goats. Then he never wanted to leave, even when I said he can stay there with the goats for the night if he doesn't come out now. Aidan just continued to blend in with the goat herd that were eating hay. At some point he tripped and sat on a goat. The goat just continued to clank clank on the hay, not a bit bothered.

我們走到山羊區，裡面有很多小山羊在吃草。Aidan有進去裡面跟牠們玩耍 因為裡面太好玩了 小Aidan就不想出來。



Throughout our journey in the farm, Aidan continuously pointed at the rubbish bin and said "bot bot", his word for "robot".
農場上面的垃圾桶長得很像機器人所以Aidan一直叫他們機器人。

Yesterday mummy took me to the park and we made friends with a little girl named Elizabeth and her doggie whose name is Tucker. I went on the swing and would not get off for ages because it was so much fun!!!!! I also told mummy "BIG ONE" because I want to swing higher, plus I heard Elizabeth said it so I kept repeating it.

昨天小Aidan去公園玩耍 認識了一個可愛的小妹妹伊麗莎白跟他的小狗狗塔克。小Aidan坐上鞦韆之後就不想下來了。還一直說推大力一點，因為他聽到那個小妹妹說要推大力一點，Aidan就被九關鳥負身一直說那一句。他還有去拍拍小狗塔克的頭喔。

Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm Harvest Festival

Last Sunday, mummy and daddy took me to the Harvest Festival at the Lavandula farm in Daylesford. It was SOOOOOOO unbelievably hot there! Lavandula is about 2 hours drive from Melbourne. The farm was quite picturesque and the smell of the lavenders really complimented the scenery (minus the hot weather and the flies).

Even though the day was boiling hot and filled with flies, I had a lot of fun. There were some geese and some emus but I didn't get to see the donkey or the cat anywhere. There were very cute stone cottages. The inside of the cottages were surprisingly cool. There was also a mini market inside the farm. One stall sold ducklings and chicks. I had some yummy lavender ice cream as well as normal ice cream with fruits. Then we quickly scurried into our car and went into town for lunch then drove home.

上個禮拜天，我們全家去了Lavandula熏衣草農場。農場每年一月的時候有個豐收慶典，禮拜天剛好就是慶典的日子。Lavandula 開車離墨爾本大概兩個小時。那天熱爆了，大概有40多度吧還有很多噁心的蒼蠅!!! 但是熏衣草的淡淡香味 聞起來很舒服喔。Lavandula 是個瑞士風格的農場。裡面有很多棟石頭小屋。那天還有一個小市場，裡面有人賣小雞跟小鴨 還有其他當地的產品。

Hello 2010！

On the first day of 2010, we went to tai por's birthday lunch at Eastern Palace but we were late because we accidentally slept in. After that, we went to a gardening store because most of the shops were not open (so we thought.. but daddy found out chadstone was actually open).

I had lots of fun in the gardening store though. I found some elephant watering cans. Daddy bought a worm farm to make compost.

2010年的第一天 也是Aidan的曾祖母的生日 我們去吃飲茶跟幫他慶祝。吃完後我們沒事就跑去花店晃晃。 Aidan找到大象灑水壺，走來走去一定要帶著兩個水壺。

Aidan爸買了一個堆肥筒 還買了1000隻蚯蚓.. Aidan娘就沒拍那個的照片啦.. 因為粉粉蚯蚓扭來扭去粉噁心啊.. 還1000隻耶 噁心 噁心.. 不過Aidan娘有把水果皮啊 菜皮啊 都留給蚯蚓吃 還有把後花園剪的樹啊 雜草啊 都大方放送給蚯蚓啦。聽說堆肥要花兩個月的時間才會形成。雖然那個對花園裡的植物很好而且很環保 但是他們還是蚯蚓的糞便 所以只可以用兩個字來形容.. ［噁心］
